Hi, I’m Lisa — the proud owner of K9 Snap Shots and a passionate pet photographer with 12 years of experience behind the lens. I specialize in capturing the beauty and unique personalities of pets through outdoor portraits, holiday photos, action-packed dog sports, family sessions, kids with their furry friends & family, equine photography, and heartfelt end-of-life sessions that honor the deep bond we share with our animals.

My journey into photography began with my soul dog, Stella. She wasn’t just a dog — she was my inspiration, my partner, and the reason K9 Snap Shots exists. When my soul dog Stella passed away on 8/9/25, my heart shattered. It’s still healing, and her spirit gently surrounds me every day.Her spirit is all around me, and she’s my light, my star, and my moon.

She’s the reason behind my photography business, and I honor Stella in every single shot I take. Her spirit guides my work and reminds me why these memories are so important.

As I competed with Stella in sports like Dog shows, Schutzhund, lure coursing, and dock diving, I began documenting her incredible athleticism and personality. My love for photography blossomed, and soon other dog owners began asking me to photograph their pets as well. From those early moments, K9 Snap Shots was born.

One of my first big opportunities was being invited to photograph at lure coursing events. That experience pushed me to refine my craft and invest in professional-grade cameras and lenses to ensure every moment I captured was just as true-to-life and full of feeling as the moment I captured.

Today, I’m grateful to combine my love for photography and my passion for animals every day. My German Shepherds Ike and Farrah continue to inspire me, but Stella remains the heart of my work and the soul of this business.

Whether I’m photographing a dock diving leap, a playful puppy, or a tender moment with a senior pet, my goal is to tell your pet’s story in a heartfelt and authentic way. I truly believe every pet is special, and every bond deserves to be celebrated with beautiful, lasting images to cherish furever.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m spending time with my dogs, exploring the outdoors, or simply enjoying the company of animals of all kinds.
